Coffee Mill in Zumbrota

This is a nice Cozy Cafe with a great salad bar ample seating for large crowds Plus a large counter space if you feel you would rather be alone. This is also a local Oddity called Obama's pie shop where as a candidate President Obama's stop by and bought a whole pie. I had a large slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and my friend had peach pie with ice cream. Very popular with the local crowd.

Great breakfast buffet for only 9.50! Coffee tastes a little burnt though.

Very comfortable atmosphere. It is a great place to meet someone for a while. This is a very friendly establishment. I stop in occasionally to have coffee and a bite of pie. The pies are well prepared and come as a sufficient size. The staff is friendly and generally characterized by bring prompt and quick to service.

Waitstaff very friendly. Food was out promptly and delicious. I'll stop in again.

We love to check out small town diners and were excited to try this one. Unfortunately we were very disappointed here.Taco salad is supposed to be seasoned...right? Well the salad I got was just chopped up (and burned) hamburger-not even salted! It was served with sour cream and hot sauce packets.. no salsa either. Had to grab another waitress to get me some (ours didn’t come to check on us until my husband was half way thru his tiny, burnt hamburger.Husband ordered a side salad and got about 1 cup of shredded iceberg with a sliver of a radish and another sliver of carrot. He got a little packet of breadsticks.They were out of lemonade -had to get pop.This place is a joke. We went here because it had good ratings. I can’t imagine where those ratings came from.And No, we didn’t complain because this is obviously just the way they make their food...badly.

This restaurant has first-rate service as well as delicious meals. The best spot in the city. The food served quick and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended.

We were in town for a concert at the Carnagie. Went for the fish fry. A small town diner at its best. Our server was friendly, fast and very funny. Food was spot on. Comfort food rules the day here. And don't forget the pie. Booths, tables and a counter with stools near the kitchen. Priced right with a real sense of community flowing within. Nice to see all the seniors. Check it out when in Zumbrota, a very quaint small town.

Although it was a little more challenging to get my mom inside the building with her Walker, the food was as always good and Carol our server was a delight!

This is a great place to meet friends for a meal. The food is delicious, coffee always filled, local people strike up a conversation with you, staff is very kind. Love it here!

I take my family to this great spot many times a year! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this place regularly. The cooking is of high quality, the workers are helpful and the prices are good. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a nice supper.

Friendly, clean, quiet and good food. This was the kind of small town restaurant one might expect to encounter while on a road trip in 1965. Complete with the sound track.The menu (and weekday hours) cater to early risers and laborers with a large breakfast menu. There are also burgers, sandwiches, a salad bar and a small meat and potatoes variety of entrees for weekend evenings. Ubiquitous midwestern fare such as fried cheese curds, and Friday night fish fry. Real half and half in your coffee. A selection of homemade pies which usually sell out close to closing time. The waitress was prompt and friendly. They do what they do well, and I salute them for upholding some of our wonderful American traditions.

All five people at our table had fried cod. We ALL said it was some of the BEST if not the best we'd ever eaten. The crust was thin and crispy 👌 The others had the salad bar and said it appears small but has some good salad. The others had all-you-can-eat, so the focus was on the cod🙂 Sorry WI, but this rivals any of the many fish fries I've eaten in your state😉. We also had an excellent server. She checked on us several timesand had a smile on her face. Oh, I almost forgot. We we only a few steps out the door when she came out with my purse!! She was a gem.(Written by Mary)

Tried the "eggs Zachary" and it was delicious!Super friendly service, record setting time from order to food arrival.Was literally in and out within 10 minutes. Waitress was great!Will def be back.

Yuck. Even the peach torte was wrong. The buyer sauce they poured over my eggs was without much goodness, in fact disgusting
